We had Paw Paw, Me Maw, and Uncle Chuck over for Paw Paw's birthday. Ann Rogers loves her Paw Paw and had fun celebrating his birthday. We Love you Paw Paw!

Ann Rogers second 1st day of school

After much searching, discussion, and prayer we finally decided on a new daycare for Ann Rogers. We are very pleased and so far AR loves it. Diapers, wipes, and meals are included. My life is so much easier now that I don't have to pack a bag each night! She has two sweet teachers and has made some new friends! The best thing is the camera in each room. I could watch her all day if I didn't have a classroom full of kids. :-) AR and I have to leave the house by 6:45. I think we are finally adjusting to our early schedule though.

a visit from cousins

Jim's brother and his family live near Orlando. We only get to see them 2 or 3 times a year, but we LOVE we they come to town. AR especially loves having some cousins to play with. I am hoping before long we can take a trip to Disney World and stay with them. We had a fun spending time with them!!!

Visiting Paw Paw at Work

Jim and I took AR to visit Paw Paw at work on Friday. She was so happy to see him, but didn't want to sit still for long. She had a great time and showed off to all of Paw Paw's friends at the office. I used to work there before teaching so I enjoyed seeing old friends too.

Helping Mommy at School

AR went with me to work in my classroom. I can't believe my students are coming next week! Yucky :-)
Anyway...AR had the BEST time playing in my room. She kept asking me to turn on a song and she danced like crazy. I brought her lunch and she sat like a big girl at a desk and ate her lunch.
I had to climb on a cabinet to hang something. I heard AR yelling at me, but wasn't really listening. Then I realized she was screaming..."careful mama careful". Do you think she has heard be careful a million times??? :-)
I had so much fun with her and did actually get some work done in my room. I love these pics but they make me sad thinking about her starting school one day! I know I have got a little while, but I also know it will fly by very fast.

22 months and a mess!!!

AR will be 23 months next week. I can't take it!! She is growing so fast and I want it to stop. :-) She does something or says something new each day and it is usually pretty funny. I have enjoyed my summer with her more than I would have imagined and it is going to be VERY hard to go back to work next week. She has become my little side kick and I love it.
I wanted to make a list for my memories of some of her favorite things at the moment
1.) Cars and The Bee Movie (we watch them over and over and over!)
2.) She is still obsessed with shoes and specifically her "cwocks". She wants to wear them with everything.
3.) Bath time which now thinks is her "wiming pool". She lays down and her belly and tells me "wim mama"
4.) Cheese of all kinds...grilled cheese, string cheese, mac n cheese, shredded cheese....you get the picture.
5.) water...we were checking out at a bookstore last week and she said "I want drink of water"
I do love that she is asking for water instead of the usual apple juice.

She is talking up a storm. She can almost count to 10 and she will repeat ANYTHING! :-) She dropped some pencils yesterday day and said "oh, gosh"...we have to very careful with what we say these days.
