Auburn A-Day

I was kidnapped and taken to Auburn. I am kidding. (sort of)

Jim wanted to make Auburn's spring game a family affair. Since there is 0% chance of AU losing the game I decided to go. You see, those of you who know Jim, know that he is NOT nice when AU loses. Heck, he is even NOT nice when AU plays badly. I made a decision a few years ago to attend very few AU games with him. It makes for a happier marriage. :-)
The spring game was fun. Sammy and Charlie went with us. AR loves anything she does with Charlie. Well...except sharing. These two fight like brother and sister sometimes. We also met Stephanie, D.J. and the twins at Auburn and went back to their house to spend the night after the game. Beside the 85 degree heat, we had a very nice time!

Love this picture except for the shadow on Jim' face.

We climbed to the top and sat down for 5 mintues and AR said she had to go potty!!!

I wore black since I was in mourning over not being at Ole Miss' spring game. :-)

AR with the twins...Harris and Lilly

AR and Charlie had enough of the heat. We went down below to enjoy some suckers.

April sun brings lots of fun!

April Showers Bring May Flowers. Not this year! There has been very little rain and it has been wonderful. We've been in the yard playing a lot lately.

Our friend Sammy, Lindsey, and Charlie came to cook out one Saturday night. Charlie and AR spend a lot of time together and love each other very much. She is always asking when Charlie is coming over. This time they didn have a little bit of a fuss. He was trying to take her slinky and she quickly put in him in his place. I think boys in her future better watch out! :-)
He wanted to push her...so precious!

I think he is a little scared!

Our friend Caroline joined us later. Just in time for a movie!

The next day was Sunday and we spent the afternoon playing in the yard. She went back and forth from the swing and her playhouse.

After playing in the yard, I had to go up to get ready for a baby shower. Jim was gone, so I put AR in my bedroom with a movie. She was very quiet while I took a shower. I was really proud of her for not bothering me while was I getting ready. Until....she walked in and I saw why she was so quiet! I had to grab my camera to capture this priceless moment.

It was with a sharpie!!!
Then I told her he wasn't going to come off and I got this face...hilarious!!!

Easter Morning Pictures

My Mom and Dad bought AR a pink fishing pole for Easter. The bird bath was the only water Mom could find that morning. AR didn't know the difference...at first. You can see in the last picture that she decided to check it out and see if there were any fish in there.

The Easter Bunny made a stop in MS to see AR. He also came to see Jim. Isn't it funny how the Easter Bunny seems to forget Moms!

After we went through the Easter treats, we loaded up and headed to church. I am sure that it was a beautful service. I tried to focus, but AR was in no mood to sit still and be quiet. I let her walk with me down the aisle for communion. She kept wanting to go down the  middle of the two lines and bypass everyone. I am sure the people sitting down enjoyed watching me re-direct her! Even though it was hard to focus, it wasn't hard to remember the meaning of Easter. Jesus has risen indeed!

Of course after church we had to take the traditional Easter pics. Kids don't like pictures very much!

Easter Pictures...a little late!

Perry, Wade, and Ann Rogers dying their eggs. They were all very serious!

She is kind of annoyed that I asked her to stop and smile.

She was the first one finished. They are a nice pale shade b/c she was not patient enough to let them sit.

These two have so much fun together...two stinkers!

We spent the Saturday before Easter in the country with my Mom's entire side of the family. We live the farthest away so AR doesn't get to play with her many cousins that much. She had a blast!!! They rode their jeeps, played ball, flew kites, and hunted Easter eggs.  She fell asleep on the way home and didn't wake up the rest of the night.
Too cool for school in her jeep!
The cousins all lined up and ready to hunt.
Showing off her loot of eggs

An attempt at a family picture. Don't we all look happy! :-)
