Christmas Morning

Of course Santa came to visit AR since she had been extra good this year. I DO NOT pose for pics early in the morning so this is just photos of the princess. I wish I could wake up as beautiful as she does.
I have to mention the fact that Jim and AR slept until 9:00!!! I couldn't take it any longer and woke them up. I was ready to play with the toys! :-)

Wow...Thanks Santa Claus!!! This was too much!

The entire month leading up to Christmas anytime someone asked what she wanted from Santa, AR ALWAYS answered with a pink guitar. It was the only thing she truly asked for over and over again. She said,"I've been very nice and Santa is going to bring me a pink guitar" I am glad Santa was listening!

I asked Santa for this Kitchen from Target. :-) I think it is too cute!

She loved her Jesse from The Crowders in FL.

She got a ton of Repunzel stuff. We recentley saw Tangled...twice. Our new favorite movie!

Check out the goodies in her stocking.

Chocolate for breakfast...why not!

ROCK STAR!

Christmas Eve

Each year we spend Christmas Eve with The Crowder side of the family. We always attend the 5:30 Candle Light service and then to MeMaw's house for food and gifts. It is just not the same without PaPaw sitting in his chair and making us all laugh with his quick wit. However, we do know he is watching over us and filled with pride over his family. We miss you Papaw!

We also missed having Uncle Carey, Aunt Erika, Colin and Colette with us. They stayed in FL for Christmas this year. We hope to see you guy real soon!

Our Little Family

AR didn't want to wear this dress at first b/c it was blue and not pink. But when she realized it had baby Jesus on there, she was excited about it!

Daddy and AR before the church service started. She did SO GOOD in church. I think it was b/c she kept waiting on the part where we lit our candles.

AR in one of her true drama queen moments. :-) It was her first present to open.

After looking at these pics, I realized she had 3 different outfits that night! Casual, church dress, and then p.j's later in the night. Goodness gracious! :-)

Brownies for Santa

We decided that Santa would rather have brownies than cookies. I am sure he appreciated them after the thousands of cookies he consumed. :-)

Decemeber Re-Cap

I didn't mean for the whole month of December to go by before I posted. However, I kind of have an excuse. :-) I hurt me knee many many years ago snow skiing in college, but didn't have surgery. It decided to buckle on me Thanksgiving weekend. I am pretty tough, but that pain was something awful. I was pretty sure I had done some damage this time. I was right...I tore both meniscus. The Dr. said the ACL tear was old, but had to be repaired now along with the meniscus. Thanks bum knee!
Anyway...I spent the first two weeks of December limping and in pain unitl surgery.I am sure I looked very graceful.  I had surgery on 14th to re-construct my ACL from my hamstring and repair both meniscus...OUCH!
So December has kind of been one big blur. I did force myself to get all my shopping and wrapping done before surgery. Our tree has been stocked with presents for a while now!
Below is a re-cap of December in pictures. Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving in MS...There's No Place Like Home!

Saying the blessing...she is super serious about it! So sweet!

My Mom and her BFF. We love Gram Gram!

Poor Jim had 103 degree fever later that day. I just had to post proof that he was there. He felt horrible!

Trying to get my mom's Christmas card picture. A very difficult task!

I guess she had no problem striking a pose! :-)

Who do you cheer for?

Sweet AR supports both Mommy and Daddy. War Eagle and Hotty Toddy! Sadly for me, Auburn has much more to cheer about this year. At least Daddy is one happy camper. One more win in the SEC Championship game and they play for the national championship. Since my Rebels may never be there, I will cheer on Auburn...just this one time! :-)

"It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown"

I really wanted to make sure I had time to take AR to the pumpkin patch this year. We never made it to one last year. I thought a Sunday afternoon would be perfect since Jim is gone to football practice all day on Sundays. I somehow don't think Jim was too sad to miss the big event. We rode on a train to get the pumpkin patch which didn't excite AR. I am sure that is because she is not a boy. She did throw out a "chugga chugga choo choo" every now and then. We met The Kerrs at the train station and spent the afternoon with them. We went through a corn maze, jumped in a bouncy, and went on a hayride. AR didn't choose the great pumpkin I had in mind...she chose a tiny little thing that has actually spent the past few nights in her bed with her. 3 year olds are funny!

Sweet sweet Andrew!

So proud of her baby pumpkin!

I wish I could photoshop Jim into this picture.
