"It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown"

I really wanted to make sure I had time to take AR to the pumpkin patch this year. We never made it to one last year. I thought a Sunday afternoon would be perfect since Jim is gone to football practice all day on Sundays. I somehow don't think Jim was too sad to miss the big event. We rode on a train to get the pumpkin patch which didn't excite AR. I am sure that is because she is not a boy. She did throw out a "chugga chugga choo choo" every now and then. We met The Kerrs at the train station and spent the afternoon with them. We went through a corn maze, jumped in a bouncy, and went on a hayride. AR didn't choose the great pumpkin I had in mind...she chose a tiny little thing that has actually spent the past few nights in her bed with her. 3 year olds are funny!

Sweet sweet Andrew!

So proud of her baby pumpkin!

I wish I could photoshop Jim into this picture.

Think Pink

My wonderful faculty members and I decided to have a team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5k this year. I am SO glad we did. It was truly an awesome day and we had so much fun participating in such an important cause. A sweet and courageous friend of mine is fighting breast cancer right now and I was honored to have very small part in such an important event. The weather was PERFECT! I am already looking forward to next year's race!

3 reasons why I love this girl!

1. She looks REAL CUTE in her Halloween tu tu...she wore this to dance class this week.

2. She wears sunglasses on the potty...enough said!

3. She will strike a pose at any given moment!
Don't get me wrong, parenting is hard sometimes...very hard. But other times it is the most fun thing I've ever done. I have the BEST time playing dress up with AR. It is getting more diffucult though, because she quite picky about her clothes. She is way more into fashion than I am. On the flip side, she will get dirty, play football, and act just like her Daddy some days! I adore the fact she is the perfect mix of a tom boy and a girly girl. NEVER A DULL MOMENT...NEVER!

Can Anybody Hear Me???

The title of this post came from song in a really bad lifetime teen movie many years ago. Shannon Doherty was a main character and sang in band. Terrible movie, but some reason that song has always popped into my head!

Just wondering if anybody out there reads my little blog. It is ok if you don't...I am really doing this to keep as a scrapbook. However, I've seen other blogs ask whose reading. I always felt like a blog stalker but found out other people stalk too! :-)

So....if you are reading this leave a comment even if you are a friend of a friend of a friend. It is highly possible I am reading yours too! :-)

Happy Fall Y'all

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this weather at our house. I just wasn't coping well with the 3 months straight of 90 degree heat. Jim is gone most Sundays going over film from the games on Friday night. AR and I always spend the day together. We were finally able to enjoy the weekend outside. We played in the sand table in our backyard, played at the park, and threw rocks in the lake. I love these pictures and I love this child!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Jim turned the big 33 on October 3rd! We are getting OLD! We invited some friends over to celebrate and watch football. If you don't know...our life revolves around football. At one point there were 10 kids running around. I LOVE when our kids can all be together.  You really can't tell from the pictures that it is Jim's birthday. I mostly took pictures of the kids. They are precious! :-)

Mary Charles is adorable!

Yummy cake from Publix...I mean yummy...I mean had to throw the rest out yesterday so we would stop eating it!

Lalah and AR enjoying the cake.

Sammy and Jim...I think their was a mix up at the hospital and they are really brothers or something. They are two peas in a pod!

Early Sunday morning on his actual birthday. Jim looks a little sleepy!

AR so excited that Daddy has presents to open.
