Please say a prayer for her to heal quickly and the scar to disappear over time. They said it should. I just hate it is on her face. Also, please say a prayer for us and finding Caddy a good home. She has always been a very loving and sweet dog. I just think if we keep her, I would always be on edge. She needs a family with older kids or no kids. It breaks my heart, but I feel it is the right thing to do. We are so thankful AR is handling it well. She slept like a rock last night and woke up in the best mood. I will post some new and fun pictures soon. I just had to share this.

Warning: Heart breaking picture!
I probably should not post this, but I wanted you to see that Ann Rogers is a very brave girl. Long story short, AR was crawling in the kitchen yesterday and I didn't realize Caddy was eating. She crawled to her bowl before I could grab her. Caddy snapped and got her on the face. I panicked for a second and then calmed down and got her to Children's hospital. 7 stitches on her sweet little face. She did amazing and was very brave. The doctor assured us that it looks worse than it was. It looked awful when it happened.

Lake Trip with Friends
We had such a great time at the lake this weekend. There were 7 families total spending the day at the lake. (10 kids + one on the way) It was a little hectic at times. :-)
It was so much fun though. We all enjoyed chasing each others kids around. I wish I would have gotten more pictures of everyone there. I was busy pulling leaves, bugs, grass and etc...out of Ann Rogers' mouth. Hopefully some of you other girls got some good pictures. Thanks to Lee Ann and Paul for hosting. I am wiped out today, but it was worth it!

I finally got a new camera!
I am so very happy to have a new camera. It is taking just a little while to figure it out, but I love it! I am just posting a few pictures from our last trip to to MS.
She was being silly with her Nannee.

You can see she has been crying. Nannee was working and AR was so upset because she wanted to be with her. She is very attached to her when we go visit.
She would put the phone to her ear when we said "Hello." She only did it that night and will not do if for me on command.
We went swimming with Emily, James Hyer, and Matthew. Of course, I did not get any pictures of the babies together. I am hoping Emily did.

Happy Birthday to Jack!
This past weekend we went to Jack Sellers 1st Birthday. Tomorrow is his actual birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK! Ann Rogers loves Jack. His party was adorable. Ashley did an amazing job. We all had a great time. I can't believe he is already one! That means AR will be before I know it. Happy Birthday little man! (I wish I had better pictures. I was using our video camera and many did not turn out. However, I purchased a new camera yesterday!)

10 months old!
Ann Rogers is 10 months old today. How is it that pregnancy seems to last an eternity, but the growing up seems to last a minute!!! I am truly enjoying my time with her this summer. I have 3 weeks left before I go back to school. It will very hard to go back this time. Some days I was upset that I was not cut out to be stay at home. It is so hard. But lately, we have fallen into a little routine and had some special time together. She makes my heart melt and makes me feel so loved.
In honor of her 10 months of life I am doing a top ten list. :-)
In honor of her 10 months of life I am doing a top ten list. :-)
10 things that Ann Rogers loves at the moment:
1. Waffles (She absolutely shoves every last bite in her mouth as fast as she can)
2. The little red car
3. shoes...not to wear, to eat...it is so gross4. mandarin oranges
5. pulling up (she gets the biggest grin, like she just climbed a mountain)
6. her new car seat (she is so comfortable now)
7. Playhouse Disney (I know I know...no t.v. for babies...whatever!) sorry, she loves My Friends Tigger and Pooh and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She dances and claps the whole time. I don't park her in front of it all day.
8. swinging (We went to swing at the park this morning and she screamed when I took her out)
9. spaghetti and ravioli (I guess that 1/4 Italian part is coming out)
10. crawling towards any cable, cord, or wire in site. She is learning the word NO! very quickly.

The Little Red Car
In the previous post I mentioned how much Ann Rogers loves her car. Mom sent me this pictures. This was taken the first morning we were at the beach. She LOVED riding in her car. She holds on like she is steering. It is so cute. I just adore this picture and that big smile just melts my heart! Thanks Nannee and Grandaddy for buying us the car. We are getting our money out of it!

Orange Beach for July 4th
Jim, Ann Rogers, and I headed to the beach last Thursday to spend a few days with my family at The Crowder's Condo for July 4th. We had a wonderful time and it was very relaxing. Jim and I enjoyed having mom and dad there to get up with AR in the morning so we could sleep a little later. They took her to the pier each morning in her little red car. She would fuss when they brought her back up. She loved it. Now, the sand she did not like at all. We spent most of our time at the pool. Jim and I would alternate shifts so we could get some time at the beach too. It was a great trip, but glad to be home and getting back into our routine.
