AR's Favorite Place

Like most kids, AR LOVES the park. We have been spending a lot of time there in the afternoons. She just plays so hard and takes it all in. We do have a major fit when we have to get out of the swing or if we get there and the swing is taken. She is absolutely obsessed with the swing and will have no part of taking turns. I try to distract her and go the slides, it will work for a second and then is she shouting "wing, peez!!!" You will notice her crying in one picture below. I had to take it. This is when we arrived today and the swings were all occupied. I think it is hilarious! :-)

Church and First Communion

AR and I went with my family to church on Sunday while we were home. Wade was having his First Communion. He did so well and we were all proud of him. I am sad I didn't get a picture with him. He must have been too busy run around with his friends from Sunday School. I was able to get some cute ones with AR and Perry.

Weekend at the Ball Park

Since we stayed here for Easter, AR and I headed home for the weekend. It was my nephew's first communion. He also had a baseball tournament, so we spent MOST of the weekend at the ballpark. We loved it though. Wade is getting so big and really good at baseball. He takes it so serious. We had a wonderful weekend despite AR not wanting to go to sleep each night until almost 11:00!!! The only downside was that it was a short trip!

Playing Catch Up!

I had not downloaded pictures in a long time. I had a lot to blog about. Scroll down for a lot of new posts.

My friend Charlie

We had the Notos over for dinner on Saturday. I wish they could come every night because AR and Charlie played all night. They were very funny to watch. She played so hard that she slept until 8:30 Sunday morning. That NEVER happens.

Baseball with Baby Andrew

Jim, AR, and I went to watch Homewood play Spain Park in baseball. Saturday's weather was beautiful and a great day to spend at a game. Whitney and Andrew came and met us since Bo was out of town. I think Jim is the only one who really watched the game. AR wanted to go up and down the stairs 100 times! She did help Whitney feed Andrew, it was very sweet.

She is calling her peeps to see if they want to meet us at the game. I was on the phone with Whitney and looked back to find AR on her phone. Don't worry...I was a red light.
I LOVE this picture. Daddy's little girl! I do hate that her bloomers were hiked up. They are supposed to be showing instead of this very short dress. :-)

I happened to capture the 2.5 seconds that she sat still to read a book.

Isn't this precious!?! He is cracking me up grabbing her head for a big ole smooch.

What a big helper!

Of course we have to sit in Andrew's stroller. We love anything that is not ours.

An afternoon outside

Like all children her age, AR loves to be outside. I took these while we were playing in the backyard last week. Notice the pebbles ponytail on the top of her head. Mrs. Crystal loves to fix her hair like this and since Mrs. Crystal takes such care of our girl...we don't care how she fixes it! :-)

She doesn't want any dirt or grass in her shoe

That sweet little face melts my heart!

18 month check up

AR had her 18 month check up last week...actually her almost 19 month check up. I use to schedule them on time and right on the month, but I am slacking in her old age! :-)
She did GREAT this time. At her 15 month check up she cried the entire time. Even when they weighed and measure her. Not this time...she was in a SILLY mood. She insisted on putting her crocks back on with her diaper while we waited on Dr. Dudgeon. She also had to eat her pop tart. She somehow made it last the entire time we waited. She is showing you her pop tart in the 1st picture. We were blessed with a great report and I just so thankful for a healthy child! Dr. D did say we were going to have trouble on our hands later. Blonde hair, blue eyes and SASSY! I told him we already have trouble on our hands. :-)

Stats:
Length : 33 1/4 inches (90% percentile)
Weight : 25 lbs 3 oz (60% percentile)
Head: ??? I never pay attention to this for some reason.
Where in the world to AR get her length. Not from daddy and sure not from mommy!
