Park weather all winter long

It has been a VERY mild winter. It makes me sad! I don't love frigid cold, but I enjoy not sweating all winter long. However AR loves it because we've had lots of park time way before spring arrives!

January Review in Pictures

Trying to catch up and post all the pictures from my phone...I know I will want them for my scrapbook!

Blogging on my phone

I don't know how I've missed this app, but it is life changing and I've been in the dark ages I guess! I am going to post a picture to make sure I am doing this correctly.

Christmas Morning

Santa was VERY GOOD to AR this year. But she is a very sweet girl who deserved it. Christmas with a four year old is really fun! The big hits this year were the barbie house, snuggie, and i touch!

Of course you get to lick the spoon.

We spend Christmas Eve with The Crowders. We meet at Jim's Mom's house and go to RUMC for the candlelight service. AR was real proud to hold her own candle this year. I was real thankful no fires were started. After church we go back to Memaw's house for dinner and presents!

GHK's Christmas Program

It is very hard some days to be a working Mom and miss out on some of the small things at AR's school. Thanksgiving lunch, ballet class, and etc...I feel guilty, but I know she has fun and is not the only child who doesn't have a parent at everything. When I saw the note about the Christmas program, I knew I had to be there for that. It was the day before Christmas break which is a crazy time to have a sub, but I am so glad I took off. The program was precious! AR is not shy and has no trouble performing. :-) The kids were all adorable and we had a small reception afterwards! I am very thankful for a principal who understands the importance of family and let me take off. It was a wonderful day!

We finally like Santa this year!

I did not have to worry about Santa pictures the past two years because she would have nothing to do with it. She was scared and absolutely did not want to go see him. This year she said, "I am four now, I am not scared anymore. I was only scared when I was three." And it was as easy as that. She walked right up to him, gave him a hug and told him what she wanted. It was the easiest experience ever! Somehow we beat the rush that day and had ZERO wait time. I waited until the last minute because I was dreading the experience, but I was pleasantly surprised! I think this picture is a keeper. :-)
